Indrek Kornel

dancer · teacher · director · project manager

My work is rooted in improvisation as a skill and a value, shaping my practice as a dancer and teacher.

My teaching and practice include improvisation, Pilates, contemporary dance, and Flying Low floorwork.

I am interested in depth — deeper bodily knowledge developed through sustained practice.

From Technology to Dance

My work spans movement practice, database design, systems migration, and information architecture.

This dual background shapes my approach:

  • I work with existing structures — whether physical, conceptual, or experiential;
  • I focus on translating information into clearer, more accessible forms for the body.

Workshops and Co-creation

Creative processes & communities

I offer movement classes and workshops in collaboration with educational institutions, organizations, and creative partners.

Practices are adapted to participants’ levels, the space, and project goals.
